Dani currently serves as Director with the AONL Foundation for Nursing Leadership Research and Education. Though not a nurse by training, she has had amazing experiences and care from nurses and is grateful for the opportunity to give back. She is passionate about professional and ongoing education and understands how important it can be to have solid evidence and research to support any professional practice.
With her professional background in fundraising, Dani is looking forward to growing the impact and ability of the Foundation to further benefit the field of nursing leadership. Dani actually started as a fundraiser many years ago – going back to high school where she spearheaded a direct mail fundraising project to help the music department purchase a grand piano. Between then and now, she has been a professional fundraiser or consultant passionate about helping organizations build relationships with their donors and enhance their programs. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. She completed a Masters of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
